How Long Does an OSRS Skilling Service Take? — Bils Services

The only two numbers anyone can honestly give you — 8 hours of work per day on a regular order, 16 to 20 on express — plus what decides everything else about your timeline.

The Short Answer

It depends on the skill, the level range and the method — and the honest thing to tell you is that our storefront prices the work rather than predicting a date. Our FAQ says delivery times vary by service, and that is not evasion, it is the actual position.

What we can state exactly is the hours: a regular order is about 8 hours of work per day, and an express order is 16 to 20 across two shifts for 40% more. Our own FAQ example is a 30-day quote becoming around 15 days with express. Everything else about your timeline follows from the XP gap and the method.

What Determines Your Timeline

Four things, and only one of them is under our control. That is why an honest answer is a quote rather than a table.

What moves the number
  • Factor
    The XP gap
    Effect
The dominant factor. 70 to 99 is roughly eight times the XP of 1 to 70
    Who controls it
    Your starting level
  • Factor
    The method
    Effect
XP rates between methods in the same skill can differ several-fold
    Who controls it
    Chosen when you order
  • Factor
    Hours worked per day
    Effect
About 8 on regular, 16 to 20 on express
    Who controls it
This is the part we control
  • Factor
    Skill-specific constraints
    Effect
Farming waits on crop timers; Slayer waits on task assignment
    Who controls it
    The game

The XP curve is the reason people underestimate high-level ranges. Getting from 92 to 99 in any skill is about half the total XP of getting from 1 to 99, so a range that looks like seven levels is actually half the work.

Skills That Behave Differently

Most skills scale predictably with hours. A few do not, and it is worth knowing which before you set expectations.

The exceptions
  • Skill
    Farming
    Why it is different
Gated by real-world crop growth timers. More hours per day does not speed up a tree
  • Skill
    Slayer
    Why it is different
Task assignment is random, so the same level range varies between runs. Our pricing accounts for whether you have a Venator bow and a cannon
  • Skill
    Runecraft
    Why it is different
Method and unlocks change the rate dramatically. Pricing accounts for whether you have pearls and whether lunar is unlocked
  • Skill
    Sailing
    Why it is different
Base prices assume a regular account without gathering; gathering and ship upgrades add 25%
  • Skill
    Construction
    Why it is different
Almost entirely a supply-buying exercise, so cost matters more than time
  • Skill
    Agility
    Why it is different
Fixed course times, so it scales cleanly with hours but cannot be accelerated by method

How to Get a Real Number for Your Order

Three pieces of information and we can quote it properly. Without them, any number is a guess with our name on it.

  • Your current level in the skill, and your target level
  • Whether you have the relevant unlocks — a Venator bow and cannon for Slayer, pearls and lunar for Runecraft, gathering levels for Sailing
  • Whether you want express, since that roughly halves the calendar time for 40% more

Send those in live chat and you get a specific answer for your account rather than an average across everyone's. The AI assistant on the skills page can also give you a starting figure before you talk to a person.

Why We Do Not Print a Days Column

It would be the easiest thing in the world to add, and it would be wrong for most people who read it. A days figure implies the XP gap, the method and the unlocks are the same for everyone, and they are not — those three things vary more between two customers than the working day does.

So the skills calculator prices the work and we quote the timeline in conversation. Our FAQ says most skill training and quests are completed within the estimated timeframe, and we would rather that estimate be specific to you than published as an average that fits nobody.

Ordering a Skill Range

The skills page does the pricing; the ticket does the timeline.

  1. Pick the skill and set your start and target level
  2. Choose a method, since the method changes both price and rate
  3. Pick Regular or Express under delivery speed
  4. Add it to the cart and check out with a Discord name or an email
  5. Pay in full — the order starts once payment is complete
  6. Ask for a timeline in the ticket, giving us your relevant unlocks
  7. Change your password, and your bank PIN if we ask
  8. Stay logged out while we work, and follow progress in the ticket
  9. Check the account when it is finished, then change your password again

Membership is required for skilling orders, and ironman or specialised builds may incur additional fees because the supplies have to be gathered.

What Is Fixed and What Is Not

Being clear about which of our statements are commitments and which are estimates.

Commitments vs estimates
  • Risk
    Hours worked per day
    How it is handled
A commitment. About 8 on regular, 16 to 20 across two shifts on express.
  • Risk
    Hand-played, no automation
    How it is handled
A commitment, stated in our terms.
  • Risk
    The price
    How it is handled
Fixed at checkout for the range and method you chose.
  • Risk
    The calendar date
    How it is handled
An estimate. Our FAQ says delivery times vary by service, and we quote per account rather than publishing a table.
  • Risk
    Account handling
    How it is handled
A commitment. Password before and after, bank PIN on request, credentials in the ticket only.
  • Risk
    Bans, mutes, rollbacks, hardcore deaths
    How it is handled
    Not covered, per our terms.

If a provider gives you a firm calendar date for a skilling order without asking your current level, method or unlocks, they have not calculated anything.

FAQ

How long does 1 to 99 take?

It depends entirely on the skill and the method — the XP rates across skills differ by more than an order of magnitude. Send the skill and your current level in live chat and we will quote it rather than guess.

Why won't you just give me a day count?

Because it would be wrong for most people reading it. The XP gap, the method and your unlocks vary far more between customers than our working day does. We quote per account for that reason.

How much faster is express?

16 to 20 hours of work per day instead of about 8, for 40% more. Our FAQ's example is a 30-day quote becoming around 15 days.

Which skills take the longest?

The ones with real-world constraints rather than the ones with the most XP. Farming waits on crop timers and Slayer waits on task assignment, so neither speeds up simply because more hours are worked.

Do ironman accounts cost more?

They can. Our skills page notes that ironman and specialised builds may incur additional fees, because supplies have to be gathered rather than bought.

Is the work automated for long ranges?

No. Our terms state that all services are done manually, and that applies to a 1 to 99 range exactly as it does to a single quest.

Bottom Line

Two numbers are fixed: about 8 hours of work per day on a regular order, 16 to 20 on express. Everything else about your timeline comes from your XP gap, your method and your unlocks.

Farming and Slayer are the two skills where extra hours per day help least, because both are gated by the game rather than by working time.

Send your current level, target level and relevant unlocks in live chat and we will quote your specific order instead of an average.

Prices, turnaround times and game rules change. Ask us in live chat if you need the current position on anything here.
