OSRS Account Security Checklist Before Ordering a Service — Bils Services

The exact steps to take before, during and after an order — what to change, what to move, and what to check when the work is finished.

The Checklist, Up Front

Four things before, one thing during, three things after. That is the whole checklist, and every item on it exists because it removes a specific risk rather than because it sounds prudent.

Before: change your password, change your bank PIN if we have asked, remove valuables you do not need in the account, and confirm in your ticket exactly what has been ordered. During: do not log in without asking. After: check the account, verify your bank, change your password again.

The checklist in one table
  • Question
    Before you order
    Answer
Confirm scope in the ticket, in writing
  • Question
    Password
    Answer
Change it before the order and again after
  • Question
    Bank PIN
    Answer
Change it if we ask; it can be changed straight back afterwards
  • Question
    Valuables
    Answer
    Remove anything unnecessarily high-value
  • Question
    During the order
    Answer
Do not log in without asking first
  • Question
    After the order
    Answer
Check the account, verify the bank, change the password
  • Question
    Where credentials go
    Answer
Inside your order ticket only — never a DM or an email

Before the Order Starts

1. Get the scope in writing

Say exactly what you want done in your order ticket: which levels, which quests, which items, and anything you specifically do not want touched. A ticket is a written record, which is why we run everything through one. Verbal understandings are where disputes come from.

2. Change your password

Set a password you have not used anywhere else, and one you will not mind changing again in a few days. Our terms ask for this explicitly, and it means the credential in circulation during the order is one you can retire afterwards without touching anything else you own.

3. Change your bank PIN if we ask

For login-based orders we may request a bank PIN change. This protects both sides, and the PIN can be changed straight back once the order is complete.

4. Remove what does not need to be there

Our team regularly handles accounts with 10B+ wealth, and our terms describe us as trusted and insured. Even so, there is no reason to leave items in an account during an order if the order does not need them. Move anything unnecessarily valuable somewhere else.

While the Order Is Running

One rule, and it matters more than it sounds: do not log in without asking first.

Two people trying to play one account at the same time gets the session kicked, loses progress, and in the worst case loses items that were mid-transaction. Our terms state that clients are not permitted to log in during a service without permission — not to keep you out, but because it breaks the order.

If you need to check in

  • Ask in your order ticket and we will tell you when it is safe
  • Use live chat on the site — it is synced with our Discord, so it reaches the same team either way
  • Progress updates come through the ticket, so you should rarely need to log in to see where things are

After the Order Finishes

Do these three before you close the ticket, not after. Our terms note that once the order is complete and checked, responsibility sits with you again, so the checking is the important part.

The post-order check
  • Step
    Check the account
    What to look for
Levels, quests or items you ordered, and that nothing you asked to be left alone has changed
  • Step
    Verify the bank
    What to look for
That your items are where you left them, and set your bank PIN back if you changed it
  • Step
    Change your password
    What to look for
Retire the credential that was in circulation during the order
  • Step
Raise anything unexpected in the ticket
    What to look for
While the order is still open, which is when it is easiest to resolve

What Our Terms Actually Say

Worth reading rather than taking on trust. The parts relevant to this checklist:

  • Full payment is required before the service starts
  • If you cancel before the service begins and the issue is not on our side, a 15% cancellation fee applies
  • All services are done manually
  • We are not responsible for bans, mutes, rollbacks or hardcore ironman deaths
  • We are not responsible for accounts linked through the Jagex Launcher, though verification codes and multiple Jagex accounts are not a problem for us
  • Clients may not log in during a service without permission

We would rather point you at that list than describe ourselves in vague terms. A provider whose written policy contradicts their sales pitch is telling you something.

The Checklist as a Sequence

If you only remember one thing from this page, remember the order of these eight steps.

  1. Confirm exactly what is being done, in your order ticket
  2. Change your password to something you have not used elsewhere
  3. Change your bank PIN if we have asked you to
  4. Move out any high-value items the order does not need
  5. Pay in full, since the order does not start until payment is complete
  6. Stay logged out while the order runs unless you have asked us first
  7. When it is done, check the account and the bank before closing the ticket
  8. Change your password again, and set your bank PIN back

Every step here maps to something in our published terms rather than to generic advice, which is why the list is short.

What Each Step Actually Protects Against

The reason for each item, so you can judge whether it applies to your situation.

Step by step
  • Risk
Someone else logging into your account
    How it is handled
You change your password before the service and again afterwards. We ask for this explicitly, both ways.
  • Risk
    Bank access
    How it is handled
We may ask you to change your bank PIN for login-based orders. It can be changed back instantly once the order is done.
  • Risk
    High-value items
    How it is handled
We ask you to remove anything unnecessarily valuable before starting. Our team regularly handles accounts with 10B+ wealth, but there is no reason to leave the risk on the table.
  • Risk
    You logging in mid-order
    How it is handled
Not allowed without asking first. Two people playing one account at once is how orders get interrupted and progress gets lost.
  • Risk
    Jagex Launcher accounts
    How it is handled
Verification codes and multiple Jagex accounts are not a problem for us, but we are not responsible for accounts linked through the Jagex Launcher.
  • Risk
    Bans, mutes, rollbacks, hardcore deaths
    How it is handled
We state plainly in our terms that we are not responsible for these. Any service that promises otherwise is promising something it cannot control.

None of this makes an account service risk-free — account sharing is against Jagex's rules and no provider changes that. It makes the risks the ones you have chosen rather than the ones you did not know about.

FAQ

Do I really need to change my password twice?

Yes, and it is the highest-value item on this list. Changing it before means the credential in circulation is disposable; changing it after means it is retired. Our terms ask for both.

Should I change my bank PIN?

If we ask you to, which we may for login-based orders. It protects both sides and you can change it back instantly once the order is finished.

Can I log in to check progress?

Ask in your ticket first. Two people on one account at the same time breaks the session and can lose progress, which is why our terms do not permit it without permission.

What if I notice something wrong after the order closes?

Raise it as soon as you see it. Our terms note that responsibility returns to you once the order is complete and checked, which is exactly why the post-order check matters.

Where should I send my login details?

Only inside your order ticket. At checkout you need nothing more than a Discord name or email — screenshots of your stats and bank are enough until a worker is assigned. Anyone asking outside that channel is not us.

Is there anything you cannot cover?

Bans, mutes, rollbacks and hardcore ironman deaths, plus accounts linked through the Jagex Launcher. Those are in our terms in plain language rather than buried.

Bottom Line

Four steps before, one during, three after. Change your password twice, change your bank PIN if asked, move out valuables you do not need, stay logged out, and check the account before you close the ticket.

Keep credentials inside your order ticket and nowhere else. That single habit removes most of the ways accounts actually get lost in this market.

Our terms are public and short. Read them before you order rather than after, and hold us to them.

Prices, turnaround times and game rules change. Ask us in live chat if you need the current position on anything here.
