Are OSRS Boosting Services Safe? Complete Account Safety Guide

What actually creates risk when someone else plays your account, what a service can and cannot promise, and the specific checks worth making before you hand over anything.
The Short Answer
The risk is real but it is specific, and it comes from two places: automation, and who has your credentials. A service that plays by hand and handles your details inside one traceable channel is a very different proposition from one that runs a script or asks for your login over Discord DM.
No honest service can promise you will never be actioned by Jagex, because no service controls Jagex. Our terms say exactly that. What a service can control is whether it automates, who touches your account, and what happens if something goes wrong — and those are the things worth checking.
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Is account sharing against the rules? | Yes — Jagex's rules do not permit it, and no provider can change that |
| What actually gets accounts actioned? | Automation, far more often than a human playing the account |
| Can any service guarantee no ban? | No. Anyone who says otherwise is selling a promise they cannot keep |
| What we do state | All services are done manually, with no automation |
| What we do not cover | Bans, mutes, rollbacks and hardcore deaths — stated plainly in our terms |
| Trading since | 2018 |

The Two Things That Create Real Risk
1. Automation
Bots are detectable by definition — they produce input patterns no human produces, and Jagex's detection is built around exactly that. A botted order is the single largest risk factor in this entire market, and it is also the cheapest kind of service to sell, which is why it is common.
We state in our terms that all services are done manually, and on our about page that there is no automation involved. That is not a marketing line, it is the reason our risk profile is different from a script seller's.
2. Who has your credentials, and where
The second risk is not the game at all — it is the human process around it. Credentials passed around in DMs, shared across a loose group of freelancers, or held after an order finishes are how accounts actually get lost. This is a process problem, and you can evaluate it before you buy.
What We Actually Commit To
These are the specific things our terms and FAQ commit to, rather than a general reassurance.
- All services are completed manually by our team, with no automation
- You change your password before the service and again after it
- For login-based orders we may ask you to change your bank PIN, which you can change straight back afterwards
- You are asked to remove unnecessary high-value items before we start
- You do not log in during the service without asking first
- Everything happens inside a ticket created at checkout, with live chat synced to our Discord
- We are trusted and insured, and our team regularly handles accounts with 10B+ wealth
And what we explicitly do not promise
- We are not responsible for bans, mutes, rollbacks or hardcore ironman deaths — this is in our terms in plain language
- We are not responsible for accounts linked through the Jagex Launcher
- Once an order is completed and you have checked your account, liability sits with you again
We would rather you read that and decide than discover it later. A provider that claims to cover bans is either not reading their own terms or not expecting you to read them.
How to Vet Any Provider, Including Us
Six questions. If a provider cannot answer all six clearly, that is the answer.
| Ask this | What a good answer sounds like |
|---|---|
| Do you use bots or scripts? | A direct no, stated in writing on their own site rather than only in chat |
| Where do my credentials go? | One traceable channel tied to the order, never a DM or an email thread |
| What happens if I get actioned? | An honest statement of what they do and do not cover, in their terms |
| Can I see public reputation? | Third-party reviews you can read without their involvement |
| What is your refund position? | A specific rule, not a vague promise |
| Who is playing my account? | A team they can describe, not an anonymous marketplace of freelancers |

For us the answers are: no automation; inside your order ticket only; we do not cover bans and we say so; Trustpilot and Sythe are both public; full payment before start with a 15% fee if you cancel before we begin; and a team that has been doing this since 2018 from one office.
Red Flags
- A no-ban guarantee — nobody controls Jagex's decisions, so this is always false
- Asking for your password anywhere other than a traceable order channel
- Prices far below everyone else, which usually means a script rather than a person
- No public reputation you can check independently
- No written terms, or terms that contradict what you were told in chat
- Pressure to pay outside their normal checkout
- Vagueness about whether the work is automated
How an Order Works From Your Side
The process is deliberately boring, because a boring process is an auditable one.
- Add what you want to the cart, with any details like level range or requirements
- At checkout you give a Discord name or an email, pick a payment method, and can attach screenshots
- Submitting creates a support ticket for your order
- Talk to us in the live chat on the site — it is synced with our Discord, so it is the same conversation either way
- Change your password, and change your bank PIN if we have asked you to
- We complete the work by hand and keep you updated in the ticket
- When it is done, check the account, then change your password again
Full payment is required before the service starts. If you cancel before we begin and the issue is not on our side, a 15% cancellation fee applies.
Risks and How Each One Is Handled
Rather than a general safety claim, here is each specific risk and the specific thing that addresses it.
| Risk | How it is handled |
|---|---|
| Someone else logging into your account | You change your password before the service and again afterwards. We ask for this explicitly, both ways. |
| Bank access | We may ask you to change your bank PIN for login-based orders. It can be changed back instantly once the order is done. |
| High-value items | We ask you to remove anything unnecessarily valuable before starting. Our team regularly handles accounts with 10B+ wealth, but there is no reason to leave the risk on the table. |
| You logging in mid-order | Not allowed without asking first. Two people playing one account at once is how orders get interrupted and progress gets lost. |
| Jagex Launcher accounts | Verification codes and multiple Jagex accounts are not a problem for us, but we are not responsible for accounts linked through the Jagex Launcher. |
| Bans, mutes, rollbacks, hardcore deaths | We state plainly in our terms that we are not responsible for these. Any service that promises otherwise is promising something it cannot control. |

FAQ
Can an OSRS boosting service get me banned?
It can, and no provider can promise otherwise. The largest risk factor by far is automation, which is why we do everything by hand. Our terms state plainly that we are not responsible for bans, mutes, rollbacks or hardcore deaths.
Is account sharing against Jagex's rules?
Yes. No service can change that, and any provider claiming their method is officially permitted is misinforming you. What differs between providers is the risk profile of how they work, not the rule.
What should I do before an order starts?
Change your password, remove unnecessary high-value items, and change your bank PIN if we have asked. Then do not log in during the order without asking us first.
What should I do afterwards?
Check the account, verify your bank, and change your password again. Our terms note that once the order is complete and checked, responsibility returns to you.
How do I know you are not using bots?
Our terms and about page both state all work is manual with no automation, and the work happens in one office which we show in our clips. You can also check our public reputation on Trustpilot and Sythe independently of us.
What if something goes wrong mid-order?
Raise it in your order ticket. If the problem is on our side, the cancellation fee does not apply. If an order is cancelled part-way for other reasons, the remaining amount is refunded.

Bottom Line
Safety in this market is not a promise, it is a process. Automation and credential handling are the two things that create real risk, and both are things you can ask about before you pay.
Our position: everything hand-played with no automation, credentials only inside your order ticket, and an honest written statement that we do not cover bans. We would rather you trust the second half of that sentence than a guarantee nobody can keep.
If you want to check any of this rather than take our word for it, our terms and FAQ are public and our reputation is on Trustpilot and Sythe.
Prices, turnaround times and game rules change. Ask us in live chat if you need the current position on anything here.
