What Happens During a Piloted OSRS Service? — Bils Services

A step-by-step account of what actually happens when someone else plays your account for an order — what you do, what we do, and what the alternative is if you would rather stay in the driver's seat.

The Short Answer

"Piloted" is the market's word for an order where a team member logs into your account and plays it. It is not a label we use at checkout — we simply list services, and most of them work this way because that is the only way to train a skill or complete a quest on your account.

In practice it means: you set a fresh password, you stay logged out, one of our team plays the content by hand from our office, and you get updates in your order ticket until it is finished. Then you check the account and change the password again.

    2018, from one office

Why Most Services Work This Way

There is no way to train Slayer on your account, or complete a quest on your account, without your account being logged in. That is the whole reason this model exists — it is not a preference, it is the mechanics of the game.

The parts that vary between providers are whether a human or a script is doing the playing, and how carefully the credentials are handled. Those are worth asking about. Whether the account is logged into is not a variable.

What You Do

Your side of the order, in full

  • Say exactly what you want done in the ticket, including anything you want left alone
  • Change your password to something disposable that you have not used elsewhere
  • Change your bank PIN if we ask you to — for login-based orders we sometimes do
  • Move out any high-value items the order does not need
  • Pay in full, since the order does not begin until payment is complete
  • Stay logged out while it runs, and ask in the ticket if you need to check in
  • When it finishes, check the account and the bank, then change your password again

That is the entire list. Everything on it is in our published terms rather than invented for this article, and the two password changes are the highest-value items.

What We Do

The work is played by hand. Our terms say all services are done manually and our about page says there is no automation involved, and that is the operating model rather than a marketing line — the work happens in a real office, which is the thing our clips show.

What happens on our side
  • Stage
    Order received
    What happens
Your checkout creates a support ticket, and the order details land with the team
  • Stage
    Worker assigned
    What happens
Until then, screenshots of your stats and bank are enough — we do not need credentials to quote or assign
  • Stage
    Work begins
    What happens
Once payment is complete and your password is set, a team member starts the content
  • Stage
    Progress
    What happens
Updates go into your ticket. Live chat on the site is synced with our Discord, so either channel reaches the same people
  • Stage
    Express orders
    What happens
Two shifts per day instead of one, which is 16 to 20 hours of work rather than about 8
  • Stage
    Completion
    What happens
We tell you it is done in the ticket so you can check the account before it closes

What We Do Not Do

  • We do not automate any part of an order
  • We do not ask for your password anywhere other than your order ticket
  • We do not promise you will never be actioned by Jagex — nobody controls that, and our terms say so plainly
  • We do not take responsibility for bans, mutes, rollbacks or hardcore ironman deaths
  • We do not take responsibility for accounts linked through the Jagex Launcher, though verification codes and multiple Jagex accounts are not a problem for us

It is worth reading that list next to whatever a competing provider tells you. A no-ban guarantee is the clearest signal that someone is selling a promise they cannot keep.

The Order, Start to Finish

Eight steps, in order. Nothing here is different for a large order than for a small one.

  1. Pick what you want on the service page — the level range, the quest, the boss or the cape
  2. Tick Express if you want two shifts per day instead of one
  3. Add it to the cart, along with any details or requirements
  4. At checkout, give a Discord name or an email, choose a payment method, and attach screenshots if useful
  5. Submitting creates a support ticket for your order
  6. Pay in full — the order does not start until payment is complete
  7. Talk to us in live chat on the site, which is synced with our Discord
  8. We complete the work by hand and update you in the ticket

If you cancel before the service begins and the issue is not on our side, our terms apply a 15% cancellation fee. If an order is cancelled part-way through for other reasons, the remaining amount is refunded.

Account Safety During the Order

The specific things that protect the account while somebody else is playing it.

During the order
  • Risk
    Password
    How it is handled
You change it before and after. The credential in circulation during the order is one you retire afterwards.
  • Risk
    Bank PIN
    How it is handled
Changed on request for login-based orders, and changed back instantly when the order finishes.
  • Risk
    Valuables
    How it is handled
Removed before we start. There is no reason for them to be exposed to an order that does not need them.
  • Risk
    Simultaneous logins
    How it is handled
You stay logged out. Two people on one account breaks the session and can lose progress.
  • Risk
    Automation
    How it is handled
None. All work is manual, which is the single largest difference in risk profile between providers.
  • Risk
    Communication
    How it is handled
One ticket, with live chat synced to Discord. Credentials never travel through DMs.

Account sharing is against Jagex's rules and no provider can change that. What a provider controls is whether it automates and how it handles your details.

FAQ

Is a piloted service the same as botting?

No, and it is the most important distinction in this market. Botting means a script plays the account and produces input patterns detection is built to find. Our terms state all services are done manually by our team.

Do I have to give you my password?

For any order that requires playing your account, yes — and it goes in your order ticket and nowhere else. At checkout you only need a Discord name or email; screenshots of your stats and bank are enough until a worker is assigned.

Can I watch or check progress?

Ask in your ticket. Progress updates come through the ticket, and if you want to log in and look, ask first so we can pause rather than have the session kicked.

How long does a piloted order take?

It depends on what was ordered. The lever you control is regular versus express: regular is about 8 hours of work per day, express is 16 to 20 across two shifts for an extra 40%.

Is there an option where I keep playing?

Coaching. You stay in the fight and a team member talks you through the mechanics. It takes longer and you come out of it able to do the content yourself.

What happens if my account gets actioned?

Our terms state we are not responsible for bans, mutes, rollbacks or hardcore deaths. We say that up front rather than in small print, because any provider claiming to cover it is claiming control they do not have.

Bottom Line

A piloted order means a person logs in and plays the content by hand. Your part is two password changes, a bank PIN change if we ask, moving out valuables, and staying logged out while it runs.

The variable worth caring about is whether the work is automated. Ours is not, and our terms say so in writing rather than only in chat.

If handing the account over is the part you do not like, ask about coaching instead — you stay in the fight and learn the content.

Prices, turnaround times and game rules change. Ask us in live chat if you need the current position on anything here.
