OSRS God Wars Dungeon Guide: Requirements, Kill Count & Boss Progression — Bils Services

GWD hub: kill count, entry requirements, and which God Wars boss to learn first.

Overview: The God Wars Bosses

God Wars Dungeon holds 5 bosses across the four faction chambers plus the endgame wing. Each chamber needs kill count from that faction's followers before the door opens, which is the part that catches people out — the requirement column below is the boss gate, not the kill count.

Difficulty here spans 3 to 5, so this is not one grind but several with very different demands.

Which Faction to Start With

Ordered by difficulty, the sensible entry point is at the top:

God Wars bosses by difficulty
  • Difficulty
    3 / 5
    Notable reward
Bandos chestplate and tassets, bandos hilt
  • Difficulty
    3 / 5
    Notable reward
Zamorakian spear, staff of the dead, zamorak hilt

    4 / 5
    Notable reward
Armadyl crossbow, saradomin sword and hilt

The armour each faction drops decides which one is worth your kill count. If you want a specific piece, go to the boss that drops it rather than the easiest one.

What Each God Wars Boss Tests

The God Wars bosses do not test the same thing, which is why gear that carries you through one can leave you stuck on another. Each fight's defining demand:

What each fight actually tests

General Graardor — Solo Bandos methods

General Graardor is rated 3 out of 5 and normally fought solo or team. Access needs 40 kill count + Troll Stronghold / Death Plateau route, and the drop worth going for is Bandos chestplate and tassets, bandos hilt.

  • Learn minion priority
  • Bandos is a volume grind
  • Solo vs duo changes supply math
  • Do not under-eat early KC

K'ril Tsutsaroth — Solo Zamorak prayer management

  • Staff of the dead / Zamorak spear fantasies need volume
  • Minions matter
  • Solo is a discipline fight
  • Bring more restores than ego

Commander Zilyana — Kiting paths

Commander Zilyana is rated 4 out of 5 and normally fought solo or team. Access needs 70 Agility + 40 kill count, and the drop worth going for is Armadyl crossbow, saradomin sword and hilt.

  • Do not chin on empty stacks

FAQ

Which God Wars boss is easiest?

General Graardor at difficulty 3 / 5, which is why it is the usual first Bandos-tier target.

Do I need kill count every trip?

Yes, kill count is consumed on entry. Killing followers on the way in is normal rather than wasted time.

Bottom Line

5 entries, difficulty 3 to 5.

Start at General Graardor. The ceiling here is Nex.
