Overview: Slayer Bosses by Difficulty

11 Slayer bosses, ordered by difficulty. The Slayer level in the requirement column is a hard gate — you cannot fight these off-task-only bosses without it, and for most of them the task itself is where the value sits rather than the boss.

We have ranked by difficulty rather than by profit on purpose. Profit rankings go stale every time the Grand Exchange moves, whereas the Slayer requirement and the fight difficulty only change when Jagex changes the content.

The Slayer bosses do not test the same thing, which is why gear that carries you through one can leave you stuck on another. Each fight's defining demand:

Kraken — Instance fishing spots

Kraken is rated 2 out of 5 and normally fought solo. Access needs 87 Slayer + cave kraken task, and the drop worth going for is Trident of the seas, kraken tentacle.

FAQ

Which Slayer boss is worth the most?

We do not publish a profit ranking, because it would be wrong within weeks of the next Grand Exchange move. The reward column tells you what each one drops — check current prices on the OSRS Wiki and decide from there.

Can I fight these off task?

Most of them, yes, but the Slayer XP is usually a large part of why they are worth doing. Off-task kills give up that half of the value.
